Mountains in flames
Because the mountains play a massive roll in Tyrol’s Zugspitz Arena, they are often at the centre of attention when it comes to special events. During the summer solstice, the breath-taking mountain peaks all around the Zugspitze, the Wetterstein and Ammer range, Lechtal Alps and the Mieminger chain are the ‘top stars’ in a perfect production. |

Bichlbach Lake
This is hardly surprising. The lake is idyllically situated in a 11/2 acre (6,000 sq.m.) meadow just below Bichlbach‘s historic Guild Church and, to the delight of “water-babies“ young and old, offers a total swimming area of 15,000 sq. ft. (1,400 sq.m.). |
