Lähn-Wengle: The heart of the Zugspitz Arena

Thanks to its central location in the middle of Tyrol’s Zugspitz Arena, the idyllic Lähn-Wengle is an ideal starting point for hikes, climbing and mountain bike tours and as meeting place for mountain bikers and cross-country skiers. Lähn-Wengle in SUMMER

Located high up between mountains and rivers, extensive mountain walks, long hikes and terrific bike tours. The beautiful landscape is entrancing at all altitudes. Mountain freaks and paragliders enjoy wonderful panoramas from a bird’s-eye view. Hikes along surrounding upland meadows mostly end in a mountain hut, where you can try out typical Tyrolean delicacies and real Tyrolean hospitality. Trips up to the Heiterwang See or the panorama pool in Lermoos provide for wonderful opportunities to cool down.

Lähn-Wengle in WINTER

Cross-country skiers, tourers and downhill freaks are all well-served in Lähn-Wengle, at the heart of the Zugspitz Arena: the beautiful slopes and loipe are within easy reach. At 2.5 km, the Brändeloipe is just right for beginners. More experienced skiers might prefer the Panoramaloipe (14.5 km). Cleared hiking trails at all altitudes entice families and nature lovers for a more relaxed jaunt. With a total network of 147 km of slopes the Zugspitz Arena fulfils the wishes of all skiers, big or small. And the uncomplicated gastronomic scene invites you to partake at any time.
