The Almkopfbahn (right next to the Fernpass main road) is Bichlbach’s access to the Skischaukel Berwangertal. Up at 1,610 metres on the Hochalim you come to the Sonnalmbahn from the other side. As rewarding as the trip to the neighbouring peaks may be, skiers are perhaps more looking forward to the subsequent descent to Bichlbach.
Learning to ski with a penguin
Beginners really love it here: the ski school is led by Penguin BOBO, who uses particularly playful means to bring slope juniors into top form. The skiing stars of tomorrow all meet at the Sonnbichlift and the ski school meeting place. The facilities are connected to each other by means of a skiweg, which means you should have no worries in leaving your car in the car park.
