| Sixteen lifts and 40 kilometres of slopes – and still true skiing, without the circus. The Skischaukel Berwangertal places a lot of value on supporting a cosy, family-friendly atmosphere. Here, parents can safely lose sight of the kids – then, they won’t get lost in this open terrain. Here, advanced skiers can try out their wide carvings. And boarders can experiement in peace. The ski area is situated in a wonderful high-altitude setting which also offers the best guarantee of snow in the whole of Tyrol’s Zugspitz Arena. From all sides lifts take you up to the surrounding peaks, and despite being so widespread, the slopes are all connected.
Each summit has its own lift!
From the centre of the village, the Sonnalmbahn takes you up to the Hochalm, where it meets the Almkopfbahn, which connects you with Bichlbach. Outside the village, the Thanellerkarlift takes you up to the neighbouring peaks. On Hönig there are several tow lifts. And there’s even a wonderful train to take you up to the Oberen Rastkopf.
