Let’s go – on a sledging adventure in the holiday paradise of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena! Whether it’s in the evening on floodlit runs or during the day in bright sunshine: A speedy ride on a sledge is fun for kids and adults alike – and thus an absolute must while on winter holiday.
Up the mountain on foot or by cable car or lift, enjoying some traditional culinary delicacies at a mountain hut and then, a speedy descent down into the valley – that’s what sledging in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena is like. And what’s even better: You can choose from several first-rate and perfectly groomed runs!
Dates and prices for the winter 2020/21 will be announced later.
Due to the current Covid-19 situation this will probably be decided shortly before the start of the winter season.
Nighttime sledging in Ehrwald
Plop down on a sledge, hold on tight, lift your legs off the ground, and before you know it – you’ll be swooshing down the floodlit run of Ehrwalder Almbahn. Three kilometres of pure sledging joy!
Good to know: Tirolerhaus, Ehrwalder Alm, Ganghofer Hütte and Brentalm serve tasty specialties from the region – perfect if you want to fuel up for your winter adventures in the snow! Live music is bound to make your evenings even more atmospheric ...

- Start: Ehrwalder Alm mountain station
- Finish: Ehrwalder Alm valley station
- Rental sledges: available at the valley station (for a fee)
- Valid tickets: Top Snow Card valid for the day of your sledging adventure, season ticket for Ehrwald-Lermoos-Biberwier, Tirol Regio Card, points cards
- Single tickets just for the ascent by cable car can also be purchased separately.

Sledging on Grubigstein in Lermoos
Grubigstein in Lermoos boasts the region’s longest natural sledging run. Across a length of 2.4 kilometres, sledging becomes an adventurous alternative to skiing or snowboarding.

- Start: Brettlalm / Grubigstein intermediate station | Lermoos
- Finish: Hochmoosexpress Grubigstein / Lermoos valley station
- Rental sledges: available at the valley station (for a fee)

Nighttime sledging in Lermoos
Night owls can now swoosh down a three-kilometre floodlit sledging run at the Hochmoosexpress six-person chairlift in Lermoos. Good to know: You might want to stop by at Brettlalm for a delicious evening meal.

Every Wednesday from 08.01.2021 until beginning of March (appropriate snow conditions required).
- Start: 18:00
- Rental sledges: available at the valley station of Hochmoosexpress at Sport Hofherr. The rental fee is not included in the lift ticket.

Sledging around the clock in Berwang
By day or by night under starlit skies: In Berwang, people love to go sledging. If you’d like to swoosh through a beautiful mountain and forest setting, you should stop by at this run. Keep in mind: Children have to wear a helmet! Jägerhaus is a cosy location for a break.
