Climbing Gym Ehrwald

No good weather? No problem! The Ehrwald climbing hall makes the hearts of climbers beat faster even on rainy days. Covering a total of 1,267 square meters in the middle of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, it is an Eldorado for all climbing enthusiasts - whether they have been loyal fans of this leisure activity for many years or are just starting out on their climbing adventure. 

Improve your technique with the help of the diverse and modern climbing equipment. Rent or buy equipment and accessories in the climbing store. If you want to get a taste of climbing, the Ehrwald climbing hall on the Tyrolean side of the Zugspitze offers a wide range of opportunities. 

During the hall's opening hours, the "Wall" restaurant offers refreshments and snacks for a well-earned refreshment after your vertical adventures. There is room for 60 athletes here at the same time.

Good to know: The climbing hall in Ehrwald is suitable for competitions.

… for your visit to the climbing hall

The proof is in the pudding – and the same holds true when it comes to climbing. However, before you get to prove yourself on the vertical walls, you should familiarise yourself with the safety rules of the climbing hall. During your first visit, you will also have to fill out a registration and consent form

By the way: Usually, the climbing gym is open Monday to Friday from 16:00 to 22:00 as well as Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 14:00 to 21:00. Upon request, groups of ten people or more can also visit the climbing gym outside of regular opening hours. To make a reservation, please call +43 (0) 660 8369959!

The Tyrolean sports climbing instructors offer various climbing lessons. Courses for children and youths are usually held between 17:30 and 19:00 – and those for adults between 19:00 and 20:30.
