Cross-country skiing tips
  • Trail-tip for guaranteed snow: For the Golf loop trail between Ehrwald and Lermoos (main access point Golfino with restaurant and parking lot) artificial snow is used. Thus, even during a bit warmer periods in winter, the 2.7-kilometre circular trail is perfectly groomed. In combination with the extremely sunny location and the unobstructed view of the Zugspitze, it is a real sporting highlight.
  • Experience vastness and pure freedom: The longest trail - the Arena trail with a length of around 40 kilometers - leads through several villages in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena. With difficulty levels ranging from easy to moderate, it is also ideal for beginners.
  • If you’d like to breathe some high-altitude air: Several kilometres of the trail network are high-altitude trails and thus have guaranteed snow until spring. What else is guaranteed on these trails? A breathtaking view of the unique mountains in the region.
  • Important to know: The trails are groomed depending on the current weather conditions.
