Finding your way around

The mountains in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena

Before you pack your rucksack and put on your hiking boots, we’d like to give you a quick overview of the mountains in this expansive hiking region: In the south, you’ll find the Lechtal Alps and, in the east, the Mieminger range. The Ammergau Alps stretch from Bavaria to Tyrol, where the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena becomes slightly “flatter” in the northwest.
